HONEY PROJECT AFRICA
Agogo Project
A HONEY Project was established in the village of Agogo, Ghana to assist subsistence farmers, women and youth. Our first initiative was a bee keeping program that would produce a living wage to farmers that is making less than $1 a day. Through our efforts we helped establish the Agogo Honey Producers cooperative to produce and market bee honey in the local community. In addition, we have adopted the two high schools in the village and currently working with the Agogo Youth Association in an effort to expand educational and business opportunities to the youth.
